Cellulite is a skin infection, in which dimpling of the skin is caused by the uneven distribution of fat tissues. Dimpled skin is not a disease; it’s normal and very common. It usually occurs in areas where there tends to be more fat such as the thighs, buttocks, hips, abdomen, arms, or breasts. As a person gets older, there are more chances and complaining of getting cellulite because the skin loses its elasticity. This dimpled skin is also considered as cellulite skin infection.
Cellulite fat is a bacterial skin infection of the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue. The normal presentation of cellulitis is an infection in the lower limb.
However, the medical profession still isn’t entirely sure how cellulite forms.
According to medical research studies, different types of laser treatments are to be used to treat Cellulite fat.
Many factors contribute to the formation of Cellulite fat:
“Ranging from pregnancy to birth control pills”
“And irregular eating habits to poor digestion”
“A sluggish elimination mechanism and hormonal activity (this may explain why women have more problems with cellulite than men).”
“Excessive consumption of sugar, salt, smoking and lack of regular exercise are also believed to be contributory factors.”

Cupping therapy for cellulite
Cupping can be effective in treating cellulite. Cellulite cause may be due to poor lymphatic drainage. Moving or Massage Cupping is excellent for lymphatic drainage. Fat travels through the body via the lymph, so helping to move the lymph can prevent fat deposit in an area. Cupping can also bring fresh Blood and nutrients to the area, which can help the skin become healthier and tighter.
Cupping therapy also stimulates collagen formation, firming the skin and reducing the appearance of cellulite.
Massage Cupping for Cellulite on Legs
• Is by far the most effective anti-cellulite massage technique
• Helps with lymphatic drainage
• Relaxes tired muscles, tendons and ligaments
• Benefits stiff joints
• Prevents cramps
• Brings energy to the lower extremities.
Wet Cupping Therapy for Cellulite fat
- Wet Cupping Therapy (Hijama) removes the toxic from the body. Hijama works best to remove cellulite and makes the body firm.
- It helps in increasing blood circulation.
- Wet Cupping Therapy also promotes effective drainage of the lymph nodes; these toxins are quickly eliminated from the targeted area.
- Hijama can aid in relieving muscular tension and promote cell healing.
- This therapy successfully decreases the appearance of cellulite.
- Wet Cupping Therapy can eliminate Cellulite fat completely if proper sessions are conducted.
Treating Cellulite
Cellulite during pregnancy
Cellulite fat development during pregnancy is not just because of the female growing body, there are other numerous causes. Cellulite during pregnancy can also be due to these following factors:
- Consuming junk food or other unhealthy food cravings.
- Your body during pregnancy retains water and bodily fluids easily.
- Hormones imbalance, such as the level of insulin and prolactin, these imbalances promote the appearance of Cellulite fat.
- Increased levels of estrogen, ligament weakness and muscle weakness stimulate more estrogen.
- Pregnancy at an older age could also be a cause of cellulite fat.
Cellulite Fat prevention during Pregnancy
Massage cupping is to be performed from top to bottom around Cellulite on Legs. The hip area can be treated in circular or straight downward movement.
During Pregnancy massage cupping or wet cupping is not to be performed after the third trimester.
Pregnant women must stay hydrated and consume clean healthy food.
Walking or a few aerobics poses can tone up the muscles tissues and reduce Cellulite Fat.
Treatment of cellulite fat through Cupping Therapy
Location: Cups are placed on the area where the cellulite is located, whether it’s on the thighs, buttocks, hips, abdomen, arms, or breasts. Points for cellulites vary from patient to patient, depending over the affected areas, there are no specific points for it.
Application: Firstly Moving Cupping is done on the area where the cellulite is located. Light to medium suction is created for areas that are smaller, bonier or have less muscle and fat and stronger suction for those that are larger and have more muscle and fat. Our expertise is not to give any bruise marks, but rather to break down the fat through, gliding the cups around the targeted areas. Ideally cups move around with a moderate speed for 5 minutes per area. This can be done every day, and results can be immediate, but lasting effects may take two to three weeks, depending on the severity of the cellulite.
Treatment of cellulite fat through Cupping Therapy
My personal experience of treating Cellulite Fat through Cupping Therapy...
I have been practicing cupping therapy both (massage and wet cupping) for the treatment and management of cellulite quite successfully. I can almost guarantee the results to be ‘satisfactory’ following 3 months of therapy!
Along with the cupping, a daily regimen of walking for between 30 and 50 minutes,
Patients with Cellulite Fat increase the fluid intake up to 2.5 liters per day and reduce salt consumption which encourages the cells to retain fluid, these are all recommended both during and after the cupping therapy programme.
Cellulitis as I mentioned is in the lower limbs such as around your tibia. Cellulitis is bacterial infection involving the dermis, more specifically the deep dermis and the subcutaneous tissue and because it is a more deeper infection, a deep dermal infection and subcutaneous tissue, the appearance of the skin is only a little bit of swelling and causing bulge.
I have been practicing cupping therapy (Hijama) for treating cellulite and my patients are satisfied.. Their feedback is overwhelming...You can book your appointment on the link below.
